Site Quality Engineer

The MCS Site Quality Engineer is responsible for the following:

• Providing assurance that the QA/QC activities are executed to a degree that confirms contract quality requirements have been met.
• Establishment of and ensuring that necessary systems, plans and procedures are in place for both the Contractor and the Site team.
• Verify that the site management of the project is being implemented correctly and that the Project objectives for quality and quality assurance are being achieved.
• Plan and implement inspection activities to ensure project quality requirements are being achieved.
• The Site QE is the primary interface with local Company Quality Representatives.
• To ensure full compliance, the Site Quality Engineer position will report to the MCS Site Manager and be functionally supported by the Subsea Quality Management function.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Engineering degree in an appropriate engineering subject or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience in QE role, Engineering and Construction phases of Oil & Gas/ Subsea projects, including at least 4 years of Site experience.
- Good communication, inter-personal and negotiation skills. Proven capability of working in a matrix environment.
- Willing to work at a detail level.
- Team Player
- Self-motivated and energetic individual, able to work on own initiative

Desired Characteristics
- Solid knowledge of the Oil & Gas sector, in particular subsea
