Social Safeguards Expert -Supervision of Infrastructures of water supply

Portuguese Project Management Company, it’s hiring Social Safeguards Expert for Supervision of Infrastructures of water supply in Angola (Dundo), 

The candidate for this position must be a qualified social development or socioeconomic expert and should demonstrate sound experience in working with infrastructure projects in unplanned peri-urban areas similar to the one proposed.  Previous experience in water supply, distribution and sanitation networks in similar areas will be considered an added advantage. Specifically, he/she should have the following qualifications:

a)  Bachelor degree in Social Sciences. Post-graduate degree will be an added advantage;

b)  At least three years post qualification working experience with infrastructure projects in unplanned peri-urban areas similar to the one proposed; previous experience in a similar position in an internationally financed project and one year of experience in water supply/sanitation projects in unplanned peri-urban areas will be a plus;

c)  Should have strong computer skills;

d)  Work experience in the Sub-Saharan African countries and working experience in Angola will be a plus;

e)  Should possess good working communication skills in English and Portuguese.
