Descrição
Supervise the process of receiving and analyzing the documentation for Customs Clearance;
• Assist the team in following protocol for clearance with local authorities (Customs Authorities, Ministry of Commerce and other authorities);
• Administer the customs clearance procedures ;
• Assist file management in a timely and correct manner:
- documentation check;
- collection of missing documents or rejection of incorrect documents;
- preparation of file for pre-clearance\clearance;
- follow up of the process with Customs Clearance department;
• Overview the process of preparing the cargo documentation for accuracy of shipper, consignee, marks and numbers, calculation of weight/volume, dimensions, goods description;
• Ensure IMO rules and regulations are followed for DGR cargo;
• To be responsible and coordinate to keep track of document flow and inform related parties on a timely basis;
• Inform BUM about irregularities, losses or delays in writing and makes sure that the information is filled in the IHT;
• Follow instructions of the team leader\management regarding the contact with clients, including:
- Provide timely and accurate information;
- Prepare and send status reports as requested;
- Advise internal clients - Operations on delays and their consequences (fines, etc);
- Inform OPS on processes and procedures regarding specific requirements for clearance;
- Other tasks as requested by BUM;
• Other
- Keep abreast of current and new contracts\tariffs and assist OPS department as necessary;
- Endure correct implementation of all Panalpina Processes and procedures;
- Keep abreast of Panalpina services and new developments;
- Participate actively in improving the quality of Panalpina operations and services;
- Apply HSE rules and requirements at your function and report HSE observations;
- Keep your workspace organized and follow Clean Desk Policy;
- Apply the CISP and respect the code of conduct;
- Carry out other tasks as required by management;

Computer Literacy
• MS Office skills and good knowledge regarding PA IT systems;
