LAB/NDT Manager

• Manage people, materials, and job assignments;
• Client interaction on a professional level that encourages repeat business;
• Generation of new leads of clients through networking and excellent customer service;
• Brainstorm and contribute to our growing company culture by adding new ideas and processes;
• Stay current on education and certifications;
• Give feedback and tutor incoming level I technicians;
• Display excellent customer service to all clients and ensure they are receiving top quality work from every location;
• Maintain office organization and generate ideas for improvements;
• Ability to trouble-shoot and act quickly;
• Ability to communicate issues/results effectively with customers via telephone or in person;
• Manage the talent within the office and giving appropriate feedback;
• Interview potential future hires.

• Angolan nationality;
• College Certification in metallurgical or physical measurement Area;
• Business or Management courses a plus;
• Excellent Customer Service skills;
• NDT Classroom Training documented hours a plus;
• ISO 9712 Level II in UT, RT minimum or equivalent;
• ISO 9712 III Certifications a one of the following method is a plus MT,UT,RT;
• Demonstrated basic computer skills including MSWord, Excel, and CAD, and Outlook;
• Radio protection officer Certificate a plus;
• Current Portuguese English;
• Usual with ISO 17025 certification laboratory;
• Comfortable with ISO, AWS, ASME, DNV, API Standard related to the position;
• Experience working oil and gas, offshore a plus;
• At least 5 years of management experience NDT and LAB;
• Naval Ship experience and familiarity with naval checkpoints a plus;
• Comfortable on PID reading, isometric etc.;
• All eligible individuals will have experience interpreting engineering drawings and following written audit guidelines as well as being a fast and independent learner;
• Qualified individuals will have experience in the NDT field in at least three of the Exposure to metallurgy or materials science concepts, vessel structures, and ISO 9001/17025 preferred.
