Finance & IT Manager (m7f)

For our client Production Unit in Luanda/ Angola we are searching for a Manager Finance & IT. Your Responsibilities

-Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, the corporate and regional guidelines and policies; identify potential business risks and ensure corrective actions are taken;
-Prepare the annual business plan/ budget, the periodic financial reporting and YE statutory accounts to the shareholders in line with defined processes. Initiate corrective actions if needed;
-Ensure all tax and customs activities are carried out and tax liabilities are optimized;
-Ensure an efficient and effective cash and treasury management;
-Ensure the data quality and integrity in the Management Information System/ financial reporting system; supervise and lead the establishment of IT Systems;
-Implement effective internal control processes in the catering unit; ensure compliance with these processes in area of responsibility;
-Prepare and deliver financial studies, projections, analyses and feasibility studies in order to enable the management to take business decisions incl. capital expenditures;
-Guide, motivate and develop the subordinates;
-Plan, implement and control the cost budget in the area of responsibility, initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations;
-Initiate and lead projects within the catering unit; participate or contribute in group wide and regional projects.

Our Expectations:

-Graduate level with economic focus or equivalent experience;
-Minimum of 5 years business experience in Finance and Controlling ideally in an international company:
-Leadership experience;
-Knowledge of IAS and local accounting principles & regulations;
-Know how in controlling and in management information systems;
-Good understanding of the organization, products, technological and competitive environment;
-Analytical skills, presentation and communication skills;
-Fluency in Portuguese and English.
