The role holder provides Network Consultancy, Design, Implementation and Support professional services to our major client's operations. Activities will include in-depth analysis, design (both for high and lower level network solutions), deployment, support and consultancy.
Requisitos
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-To support on aspects of WAN/LAN Networking / IPT / Security and Date Center technology domain from requirements capture/definition through customer.
-To interpret client needs, assess the full requirements, and identify suitable solutions.
-To input to cost/timescale solutions/options and manage expectations as appropriate with the customer
-To support on the service delivery and network solution implementation.
-To provide support and troubleshooting service for the network infrastructure related incidents and problems
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Typically engineering/science degree.
-Typically hold expert level industry certifications. E.g. Huawei HCIE/HCNP. Cisco CCIE/CCNP, etc.
-Typically familiar with Huawei devices.
-Typically have 3+ years of industry experience in WAN/LAN Networking / IPT / Security / DCN technology domain
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-Experienced and fully competent in installing, configuring & troubleshooting Huawei routers, Switches. Strong knowledge in Ethernet, MPLS, IPSec, HSRP, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, QoS, VPNs, IP Telephony and Voice Over IP.
-Completes own role independently and with minimal supervision.
-Can interpret client needs, assess the full requirements and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries.
-Is aware of internal/external business issues and best practice in own discipline and can apply this to own role.
-Able to manage own time to meet agreed targets, and to develop plans for specific work activities in own area over the short-term, including forecasting resource requirements.
-Good team player
-Possess good communication skills in written and spoken English
