Where Do You Fit In?
An extraordinary opportunity has become available for you to become our next Public Relations Specialist for Honeywell Aerospace in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India (EMEAI). As our PR Specialist, you are responsible for developing the public/media relations agenda for our external communication programs in region, covering aerospace and defence.
Your role will also support our current business as well as business growth in High Growth Regions as defined by us. Specific work for you will include bespoke message development, media and analyst engagement, executive counsel and coaching, crisis communications management, company spokesperson responsibility. Your role resides within our Aerospace External Communications function and is closely aligned with corporate communications and government relations.

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations or related field
• 15+ years of experience in the areas of Supply Chain management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply chain Planning and execution and/or Demand Management

What will you be doing every single day?
- You'll collaborate with both global and EMEAI Communications to develop strategies and implement the overall integrated external communications plans for EMEAI, including public relations initiatives, active and reactive media relations, issues management and relationship building with key audiences.
- You will increase Honeywell Aerospace's market visibility and improve its image with the business, technology and aviation industry trade press.
- Monitor industry news and competitors across EMEAI; identify emerging issues; dedicatedly develop and maintain appropriate relationships with meaningful media and other key groups; develop, monitor and nurture active dialogue with relevant media networks within the aerospace sector.
- You'll assist and advise our senior leadership on Corporate Labor and crisis management, leading the communications response on unanticipated events, to protect and improve the company's competitive position, profitability and reputation.
- You will actively identify potential industry challenges and act as the business' first point of internal contact for reputation-related issues in EMEAI.
- You'll be developing strong global team relationships in a highly matrixed environment across a variety of functions
- You will be collaborating with senior leadership, EMEAI Communications and global business and commercial teams on media relations activities to ensure consistency.
- Communication channels will partner with you to facilitate positive relationships between Aerospace, Honeywell Corporate and Honeywell Government Relations
- You'll possess exemplary experience within a public relations role with a deep technical knowledge and understanding of the aerospace industry.
- You'll benefit from having an education or qualification in Business, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, and International Relations
- We are seeking fantastic interpersonal skills with the confidence to cooperate across a multi-disciplined and global team.
- You should be well-connected in the defense industry communications networks, familiarity with defense contractors is a plus.
- You're a creative and strategic thinker with broad public affairs and public relations experience who can turn plans and ideas into actionable programs.
- Your persuasion and influencing skills will be polished, and You're credible when it comes to solid business insight.
- Outstanding oral, written and presentation skills. Proven media relations skills and results-orientation. Strategic approach to communications and program development ability.
