Flow Assurance Engineer

. Ensure operational and technical support to Field operation teams through Flow Assurance studies and expertise;
. Assistance to site in analysing production upsets (e.g. equipment/facilities);shutdown, production shortfall,...) and identifying mitigation/preventive actions;
. Flow assurance optimization activities;
. Flow assurance and process trouble shooting activities (including subsea processing equipment);
. Maintain and update as required Flow Assurance documentation for each asset (Hydrate Prevention Philosophy, Subsea
Operating Philosophy, MPP Operating Philosophy;
. Develop fit-for-purpose guidelines for special operations (production restart and shutdown, depressurisation, hydrate
prevention and remediation;
. Conduct Flow Assurance studies related to performance actions (Well performance, Reliability, Task Forces), modification requests, and derogations requests when required;
. Identify and Propose opportunities to optimize and debottleneck existing facilities to enhance production while keeping a
sound integrity protection of the facilities;
. Define flow assurance scope/requirements for medium to long term projects for production optimization;
. Ensure provision of flow assurance inputs for facility modification and upgrade studies;
. Ensure flow assurance simulation studies are performed as required (production optimization; forecasting; modification;
. Guarantee the technical expertise of flow assurance studies in accordance with deadlines;
. Ensure assistance to the development studies requested in term of Flow Assurance and ensure that operational feedback is provided (including technical interface when necessary);
. Gather and share feedback of best practices between affiliates in any topic related to flow assurance (flow regime stability in the production loops; hydrate prevention strategy, thermal insulation performance and optimization of methanol consumption, etc).

. Angolan nationality;
. Engineering degree or Msc;
. Professional experience of at least 4 years with minimum 2 years in Flow Assurance (design, study,operations);
. Experienced with Oil & Gas Engineering problems and preferably within deep offshore environment;
. Good knowledge of thermodynamics, multiphase flow modelling and physico-chemistry risks;
. Extensive experience with the use of simulation tools such as OLGA & PVTSim;
. Good communication skills, reliability, autonomy, organization and method;
. Conversant with international standards and industry best practises;
. English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
