Build Team
Recruit, develop and manage a professional team to meet the objectives of the Financial Officer position. The team size is likely to be 2-4 people.

Contribute to the design, implementation, documentation and maintenance of strong processes and controls for accounting, treasury, procurement, inventory, warehouse and sales
Contribute to the design of an appropriate Chart of Accounts to support the business and reporting requirements
Contribute to the design of appropriate process flows for an ERP system
Assist in the implementation and testing of the ERP systemTreasury and financial operations
Knowledge of Angolan Banking system and foreign exchange controls
Manage financial operations of sales and distribution, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and banking
Working capital management
Develop knowledge of Angolan customs and importation process and taxesAccounting
Strong knowledge of Angolan accounting and regulatory reporting
Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Product costing and inventory management - appropriate levels, obsolescence, inventory counts, loss of stock.
Fixed Asset management - ensuring all assets are appropriately recorded, and their location, condition and value accurately recorded, depreciation accurately maintained for accounting and taxation rates.Taxation and other compliance
Knowledge of Angolan Taxation
Knowledge of payroll and labour laws and regulations
Knowledge of other Angolan compliance regulationsFinancial reporting and audits
Prepare financial reports for Angolan subsidiaries
Manage audit process and relationship with auditors
Manage completeness and accuracy of month-end journals, reviews and reconciliationsBudget and forecast
Manage budget and forecast processes
Support management teams in their budgets and forecasts
Analytical review of budgets and forecasts and give guidance to management teams
Report budgets and forecasts
Manage processes for approval and measure of material capital expenditure and unbudgeted

Requisitos
Hold an undergraduate degree or higher degree;
Postgraduate qualifications as ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA;
Experience working at Financial Controller level or higher, within a manufacturing and/or resource industry;
Good organisation, planning, priority management and commitment to deadlines;
Demonstrated ability to lead and communicate;
Some experience working with international companies;
Speak English and Portuguese;
Willingness to travel to project site at Cabinda as required;
