Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Formulating and implementing the Strategic Financial Priorities of the Group on an ongoing basis, and engaging third parties where appropriate;

Developing and implementing effective financial management and tax optimisation strategies;

Developing and implementing reliable control systems that ensure appropriate understanding and mitigation of key financial/operational risks;

Managing the Group’s working capital and budgeting processes, through effective oversight of the Group’s transaction processing systems;

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to the Board and other stakeholders;

Represent the Group in dealings with key stakeholders in the Financial and Investment Community, within and beyond Angola.

Building and oversee a young, dynamic and motivated team of Financial professionals;

Set clear objectives, process guidelines and guide team members to achieve targets and professional standards;

Develop a robust plan that ensure employee engagement and continued professional growth;

Professional Accounting Qualification, and familiarity in Angolan Accounting and Financial Reporting standards. Advanced degrees will be an advantage;

Proven track record and 10+ years’ experience in Accounting and Financial Control, with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Senior Management capacity;

Strong International Mind-set, and ability to interact well across a broad array of senior-level stakeholders;

Strong Written and Spoken Business English and Portuguese;

Systematic Thinker and Process Builder, well organized when working under pressure;

Conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure, persists despite obstacles and opposition;

Strong Leadership abilities to attract, develop & retain talent in the organisation;
