Marine Superintendent - Tanker

Overseeing tanker ensuring they are properly crewed, maintained, and operated within the industry/company standards and regulations
Act as a liaison between the Company and the maritime agency company and vessel management company
Supervise vessel operations (bunkering and freights)
Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to vessel personnel
Provide inspection and maintenance plans and procedures
Develop and maintain vessel operations budgets
Ensures vessels are operated in a safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective manner, in compliance with Class and Statutory and Safety Management System requirements
Provides day to day technical and operational support and guidance
Monitors vessel performance and ensures timely, efficient, and effective follow-up actions
Prepares and manages vessel budgets and optimizes operating expenditure while ensuring that the vessel is operated and maintained to the standards required by the Company and our Clients
Plans, monitors, and manages dry-dockings and major repairs
Carries out regular vessel visits, including sailing visits, to confirm condition and compliance with company standards

Minimum 5 years’ experience as Superintendent of product / chemical tankers
Experience in the maritime industry with Tankers
5+ years of experience sailing as a senior officer on a tanker
Effective communicator with a good command of English
