WELDING SUPERVISING- Porto Amboim Fabrication Site(s)

The service holder is responsible, within the Kaombo SURF team, for assisting Welding Superintendent in following-up, monitoring and supervising weldind activities carried ou by SURF Contractor and Subcontractor(s) at the SURF HPA (and potentially PAENAL) site, ensuring that his discipline's contractual and technical requirements are duly applied by SURF Contractor and Subcontractor(s).

In this respect, the service holder closely monitors the correct implementation of approved welding procedures, the storage and the consumption of welding consumables.
He reports on day-to-day basis to the SURF Welding Superintendent.

The service holder participates to routine and random inspections and audtis, assists to to daily/ regular Construction meetings related to his discipline with SURF Contractor and/or Subcontractors, performs QA/QC and/or HSE visits and tours as required related to his discipline with SURF Contractor and/or Subcontractors, performs QA/QC and/or HSE visits and tours as required... and ensures an adequate reporting to the SURF Welding Superintendent (areas of concerns, problems encountered in its discipline during construction and/or implementation by SURF Contractor and/or Subcontractors).

As a general manner, the service holder provides assistance to Company Construction team for all matters related to his discipline in accordance with instructions provide by the SURF Welding Superintendent and is accountable for demonstrating, individually, an exemplary behavior with regard to HSSE rules & requirements.
